Compatibility mode provides \added, \deleted, \replaced{new}{old}, \highlight, \comment, author definitions, reports, and documented setter aliases.

The compatibility id key identifies an author. Use changeid for a unique Texchanges change ID. commandnameprefix=none|ifneeded|always controls compatibility commands only.
